My OC's: Melonelly McSherbert and Buckaroodle
OMG guys, I drew Melonelly 8 times before I was mildly happy with her...and I'm still not happy with her. Buckaroodle was easier to draw, but I obviously need to work with my sand prismacolor cause there's no blend in his skin.
I'm more of a concept artist, anybody want to do a redraw of these two?

Melonelly McSherbert:
A girl, based on sherbert ice cream. She's a girly girl in an ice cream cone skirt. A middle of the pack racer, she places about 40% of the time before the arcade opens and wins about the same amount of the time. Like most ice cream based racers she can shoot ice cream missile power ups, but she also has rainbow dazzlers, which will blind the other racers, giving her a chance to speed ahead. Melonelly is very nice to everyone.
Buckaroodle:
A boy, based on m&m's (those belong to the mars corporation, I dont own them. Buckaroodle is a fan character). I wanted a real boy character, since the two boys in the movie are really girly I think. I also wanted to create a character who has a single name like Candlehead. Buckaroodle wears red and brown and he's got a fauxhawk. His power up allows him to scatter m&m's on the racetrack, causing other racers to skid out of control. Which is funny because Buckaroodle has a tendency to get rather excited and skid out of control all by himself. Some players actually think this is a glitch in the game's system, but it's just Buckaroodle being himself. He only places 30% of the time before the arcade opens, but he wins about 75% of the time when he does place.
Note: In my headcannon, a player (us) can win with a racer, even when the racer doesnt win on their own a lot. This is because a racer/player team is stronger than a racer on their own. The opposite (good racer, bad player) is also true.
